Peak Challenge – 14ers hiked over the years
Every year for the last seven years, hundreds of men have capped off the experience with a summit of a 14,000 foot peak. This is no easy task, even for those that are in great physical shape. On a Sunday morning in July for the past seven years in Colorado, God has blessed many men with the thrill of standing on some of the highest peaks in North America. From the second highest peak in the continental US (Mt Elbert) to other memorable hikes on Quandary Peak, Torreys Peak and Mt Sherman and others, men have achieved something very few will ever do.
At Peak Challenge 2013, we will be heading back to Mt Elbert for the Sunday hike! Mt Elbert is the highest peak in Colorado and the second highest peak in the continental US (second only to Mt Whitney in California).
Below is a list of the 14ers that have been hiked by Peak Challenge men over the years:
2006 – Quandary Peak
2007 – Mt Elbert
2008 – Grays Peak and Torreys Peak
2009- Mt Democrat, Mt Lincoln, Mt Cameron and Mt Bross
2010 – Mt Sherman and Mt of the Holy Cross
