Limited to 50 men and young men – Registration is closed!

The focus of this basecamp will be a bit different than the other two. We have planned this basecamp with a “running” focus for male runners 13 years and up.

The location is along Half Moon Creek, approximately 10 miles west of Leadville near the Mt Elbert trailhead.

This is a much more primitive location than the other two. No pavilion, no cook shack and pit toilets are 1/4 away.

We will be using the “Chase the Lion” theme like the other two basecamps, but with more of a runner’s focus.

There will be scheduled trail runs in the morning and evening.

Friday AM – We will run up Hope Pass on the Leadville 1oo trail. For those hard cores, we will proceed to Winfield and then back up for a Double Hope!

Saturday AM – We will up to the top of Mosquito Pass and back down. Amazing views of the Collegiates on the way down!

Sunday AM – We will hike/run Mt Massive which sits at more than 14,400 feet high.
