Pray for Colorado

As the Waldo Canyon, High Park, Treasure Park and other wild fires in Colorado intensify, we ask that you take some time daily to pray for the following:

• safety of those who are at risk of life and property – homeowners, firefighters and business owners. God – keep them in your protective hands

• Favorable weather and terrain conditions – God we pray for rain without lightning, for the lessening of winds and for the advancement of the fire control line over dangerous and isolated terrrain

• Community and unity – God we pray for those in Colorado and others around the country to rally together to pray, to provide needed relief in the form of food, water, shelter and money and an outpouring of your Holy Spirit by your people to show love, compassion and support in these times
